Exdirectory are you able to fix your problem with the Aerosus compressor? I'm on the same boat where my air bags are good (newly replaced), 40A fuse is good, I even swapped a new fuse in but it doesn't fix it.

Now I'm deciding if compressor is next, if yes, where should I get one.

There are many aftermarket options. OEM MSRP is ~$1600, which you can buy online for $1100. I think that's over the top for an air compressor. I ordered one from ebay for $200. I realize that may not last as long as an OEM unit, but this is an easy DIY. Finally, if you really want to make sure your compressor is the issue, you should be able to put 12V across it and test it. If your bags have been recently replaced (which means they were probably leaking for some time) and if your relay is good, it is probably the compressor.

I just installed this $200 compressor and if fired right up: https://www.ebay.com/itm/20419337210...&segname=11050

Also, the fuse was blown. I assume the electric motor had seized (I didn't bother testing it as the fuse should not be blown). So, check that 40 amp fuse.

This is a very easy DIY. Don't take it to the dealer for this.

It's hard to believe that BMW didn't add bump stops to prevent damage.

Mine was fully deflated in the garage and I had no damage that I could find. Also, the wife took it out for a quick drive without me knowing while they were deflated and I got lucky there was no damage from that either.

She did ask me why the back end was bouncing up and down so much..... Lesson learned, take the key away if you do not want it driven
Yup - see below:

You can also maybe see if you just need to replace the moisture beads. Maybe it's clogged. Dont get a lot of broken compressors on here.

How many miles you got.
I recently had my bags and compressor replaced under warranty (thankfully). What I was told by the technician was that if the air bags get micro leaks by the time the bags start deflating, it might be too late since the compressor is already cooked. On hindsight he said it is best to check for leaks when you change your oil etc. He also said that he would recommend replacing the air bags and changing transmission fluid at the 60-80K Mile range as preventative if you want to keep it long term...
