BMW F30 - Screen all of a sudden has started Flickering

Hi

My dispaly has all of a sudden has started Flickering, but is still functional

Any suggestions what would cause that?

There's a display cable that runs from the headunit to the display. This cable may be loose or damaged. I would remove the hvac and radio trim to access it and check the cable. If the cable is okay, the display may be damaged and would need replacement. However, unless the display has taken damage, I doubt the display is acting up.
