VMR Wheel size/offset HELP on a 335i
Hey, i am new to this forum. Just traded from a 350z to a 335i E92 2008. I want to get the VMR VB3(V703) and i got a good deal for a staggered set. front 19x8.5 offset 40 on the front and 19x9.5 offset 33 on the rear. Most the wheels i have been looking for have had offsets of 35 on the front but these only come with an offset of 40....so i want to know if i will be ok getting these. i dont want any rubbing or anything and i know ppl here in houston who can roll my fenders if needed. i am running stock btw.

You should have no issues whatsoever
We recommend either 19x8.5 ET40 OR ET35 in the front.

If you want a flush fitment go with
8.5et22 235/35/19 10 et25 265/30/19 You'll need to roll the rear fenders. Last edited by bmw325i; 06-06-2014 at 09:18 PM.. |

If you're looking for a more aggressive fitment, I've seen customers run 9.5s up front and 10s in the rear, however fender modification and/or stretched tires may be necessary. Not sure if you just want a nice, simple, bolt on fitment that doesn't require any work, or if you are open to doing that sort of work to make them fit.

I have VB3 19x8.5 ET40 on the front and 19x9.5 ET33 and they look sick IMO. Couldn't be happier with how they look. I can take pics if you want so you can see how far they stick out although I don't know how different it'll be since you have a coupe.

I just picked up some VMR VB3/V703s and my sizes are:
19x8.5 ET 40 (Front) 19x10 ET 35 (Rear) Rear sits flush. Front needs a 5mm spacer to sit flush. *Note: Usually the 19x10 is a ET 38 but they only had ET 35 blanks so I took them, they're in my favor since I wont need a spacer for the rear anymore. |

19x9.5 ET33 and 19x8.5 ET20 have the same outer position. The same applies, whether it's an 8.5 or 9.5; fender mods may be required. If you're really looking for a nice, simple bolt on fitment you could just run our standard offsets and space them out to your preferences.

I know the E92 fenders can't be rolled, but you may need to do some trimming here or there, which is why I didn't specifically say rolling. I've seen people do the 9.5 ET33 fitment before plenty of times, but to make sure we don't end up with unsatisfied customers, we always recommend going the safe route first and then move towards a more aggressive fit later if they want. Everyone's setup is a little different, and we'd just rather not have a customer damage their car if we can help it.

Btw 9.5et33 doesn't require any fender trimming or rolling with a 245. |

I am just saying fender rolling isn't a big deal to some people, but when you make it seem like it takes major modifications to fit it scares them into going with the bolt on offsets. |
