LCI taillights worth it ?
Been looking into getting LCI taillights for my 10' E93. Are they really worth it? Also they require coding right?

How much everything cost you? I can't seem to find a full set for sale anywhere but bmw dealers.

I know **********s and European Auto Source sell sets of LCI tails. EAS also carries the Euro version with yellow blinkers instead of red but they are marked up like 150.

I got the entire set including retrofit cables for about 550 or so. I'm away on a biz trip but I can look it up when I get back. I ordered mine from getbmwparts.com. It had free shipping too. The kit is on the main page under one of the links. I had FRM 3 module. (9-2009 and later prod date cars) so just had to add the led retrofit code to VO and everything worked.

LCI taillights are worth every penny, I did remote coding and they work flawless. makes the rear end look new. I feel like the E92 taillights are outdated.

Absolutely. IMO the LCI lights look newer than what even comes on the brand new bmws.
A guy in a 535 the other day thought my '09 car was a '13. |

I have a 2008. GBMWP says I need a footwell module? Is this true? Or can I bypass that with coding? Thoughts?

Back in the day when I had my 2009 coupe, I was told I needed harnesses- which I purchased. I imagine times have changed since 5 years ago though.
They worked flawlessly for 2 years, until I sold them for a decent amount- as I did with my rocker panels, intake, exhaust, roof and trunk spoiler, aluminum trim, and OSS Always keep your OEM stuff kids- always worth the sale back into the community when the time comes |
