*** Wheel bearing made in china Good/Bad experience

Hello Friends -

Anybody has first hand experience with F A G wheel bearings made in china.
I bought two F A G bearings for my 2014 328i, thinking those are OE, but noticed they are made in China. Wanted to hear from anybody who may have bought F A G China bearings with good or bad experiences.

Please - no iPhone made in china arguments and such if you have never bought a F A G made in china bearing for your BMW

I replaced my front wheel bearings about 2 years ago with the F.A.G ones, no issues with them. Mine said made in Germany on the box. Didn't know they source from China these days, but they have been an OE supplier for BMWs and other makes for years. I also used them for the bearings on my 2003 E46 many years ago.

F A G is a division of Schaeffler, an OEM for BMW. I have no idea where they are made, but if they were purchased from a reputable distributor, I would have confidence in the product. F A G bearings are some of the best.

That’s globalization… China makes everything nowadays. Occident gave them all the prints, specs and know how, as exchange for their “low cost” and market opportunity.

Thanks all! I bought it from FCP euro, I trust them, hoping they have a foolproof supply chain. Worst case, its my free labor, I will keep replacing with their lifetime warranty
