I definitely recommend spacers. They are fairly cheap ($200 for 2 pairs from Bms including extended lugs) and they will make a world of difference with the look of the car. They will make the car look 10x more aggressive!

I would say spacers and lowering should always go hand in hand if lowering, especially with stock wheels (since you can get proper wheel fitment with aftermarket wheels to avoid the need for spacers)

Btw, car looks awesome!

Well, I'm not sure that I want the car to look 10x more aggressive. As I mentioned, I really just wanted to get rid of the AMC Eagle-like "quasi-crossover" look.

In the 20 months that I've owned the car, I've done the following mods:
  • MPPK (ordered before I even took delivery)
  • Body-matching air breathers ("bimmerangs")
  • CR70 tint
  • 3.75" exhaust tips
  • Brushed metal radio/climate control surround (from luxury line)
  • Euro-spec sun visors (without airbag warning stickers)
  • ACS springs

In every single case, I really think that I'm "restoring" the car to the way that it should have come from the factory.

Curious, where did you buy your exhaust tips from? I have 3.5" ones but want to go larger.

Btw, I don't think spacers will make your car look more aggressive. It will make it just look better, sportier. Its a relatively cheap mod that at least me to has a big impact on the appearance especially if the car is lowered.

Thanks!
Fair enough. 10x more aggressive but in a stock sort of way haha.
Click my profile and see my photos. I have a very minimal drop (which in my opinion is perfect) and the spacers just make it pop so much more.
