When you insert the card or drive, the HU will check what you have in there. |

Suddenly no sound
Maybe my unit sound output is dead.
Suddenly, there is no sound at all. I tried many things, I even did a factory reset but still nothing. I checked the amp with the radio, I have sound. So it comes definitely from the android unit. I see only one option, buying an USB DAC. Thoughts, anyone? It still runs android 11 (2.4.4) with ID8. |

My Bad, it's this one: https://www.ewaying.de/products/8-8-...6&_ss=e&_v=1.0 It runs android 13. I got an OEM folder in the root directory of the system, which i can not change. Maybe someone knows where the logos are saved on this HU |

Why do you try to access the OEM folder on your unit when every single guide out there tells you to copy bootanimation.zip and bootlogo.zip (or individual images like imagefv.bmp) to the OEM folder on your USB/SD card and plug it in? |

Are you sure that your system can access the SDCARD/USB?
Use filemanager on your Android and make sure you can access and read the OEM folder. SDCARD/USB frequently get corrupted because you remove them without ejecting them first. Next time you insert them, the system will not mount them. You can eject them by going to settings>storage, choose the device and select eject. |

Guys, this afternoon I noticed that my HU sound stopped coming out via the harness into AUX-REAR (that's where it goes by default, in my car which has RSE).
I pulled out the CCC and noticed that if I moved the FAKRA/Quadlock going into the back of my CCC, the sound would return, but it is sensitive to movement! What do I do in this situation? Should I ask for another harness or maybe some other trick I can try? |

I have installed the Ksw-R-M600_OS_v2.4.4-ota Update via SD on my 662 screen, but I can't get it to recognise any firmware anymore.
I want to upgrade to A12, but it doesn't recognise any firmware after installing the version I just mentioned. Last edited by Evanss; 03-11-2024 at 05:02 PM.. |

If have similar device OS update issue and would be nice to have OS version updates to work again...
I have SD662 6/128 10.3" Android HU (for Audi b8) and previous OS updates like from A11 (ver 2.4.2) to A12 (ver 1.2.0) worked well, but now OS update was stucked to version 1.1.4 NEXAI. Now if I run OS update (v. 1.2.1 NEXAI or newer) my device's OS version remains the same 1.1.4, even the OS update process is run normally. Was there a need to edit factory_config.xml file in device to make updates work again? When performing an OS version update what is needed to edit/change in that file to be able to get OS updates to work again? |

Post a photo of the system info screen so we can figure out what you have and if it's even possible to change that image.

I've recently fitted an.plug and play HU to my car and everything is satisfactory except Bluetooth phone calls have very low volume, I've tried all usual things but nothing makes and difference. I even bought 2 DAC's and they didn't help at all, one was USB and the other was 3.5mm input and output If I unplug the Aux on the new HU it makes no difference to sound either as sound still comes out of the factory speakers, same with BT calls, makes no difference with aux plugged in or not, I must however have aux source selected on the original CCC Vendor keeps saying to up the factory settings BT Vol but it makes no difference as does adjusting the volume controls on the sources, I've tried 3 phones recently and still no improvement. |

Tbh I'm happy with the sound quality it's the low volume phone calls that's the problem, I can max the stereo volume on my car to just manage to hear the other side but get blasted with music once call has ended, they hear me fine, I also have the external mic installed Also confusing is if I unplug the AUX cable between the CCC and Android HU sound is unaffected My aux is wired directly into the back quad lock plug on my CCC unit and not the MULF. |
