If you apply for BMWCCA you could probably get a rebate back worth more than your initial investment if you've bought a new car. I paid $159 for the 3 year membership (which you can apply for the rebate after 6 months when it's usually after a year of being in the club) and I'll be getting $500 back for my 3 series. The higher end models will yield more of a rebate. Plus, my club chapter throws some pretty fun events and cruises!

Yeah. This car had everything I wanted except the high performance summer/track package. I don't have any ambitions to go 155mph up Pike's peak, so a quick tire change to summer tires will suffice.

Have you used any shop for film wrapping and coating? Trying to do some research on installers before my car arrives.

After owning several BMWs over the past 25 years and only one Porsche, I'll say that Porsche is light years better at showing their present and past owners some love. I bought my 2007 C4S new and I still get some pretty cool and expensive swag from them as recently as last year. I'm talking stuff nice enough to be proud to display at home or office.

Are you looking for PPF or an actual wrap? Check out Simply Clean Detail Studio in Lafayette. It's a hike but Tyler does really good work. Much better install then Schomp did on my F23 (they did the front bumper he did everything else including ceramic.)

I used New Image Paint Protection in Englewood. Excellent work. They did ceramic coating and paint protection film.

For purchasing a Carrera 4S I've got a whole book shelf full of nice swag that I've received over the years since including some hard bound histories of Porsche. With my F82 I got a BMW umbrella. I paid for the 2-day M-school out of pocket during Black Friday in 2019 (20% off, if I recall) and went to Thermal in February of 2020 (1 month before COVID lockdown). M-School was worth every penny. Best experience in my life. I cannot wait to go back.

I am guessing I will get my choice of any trinket I want in their swag case when I pick up my G82. Which, as with the F82, was a keychain or an umbrella....for a $90k car..
