Need help - passenger low beam out, bulb/ballast already replaced

Just bought a 2010 128i convertible - drives like a dream!

My issue is my passenger low-beam isn't working. I'm getting the following system notifications: Adaptive headlight malfunction and passenger low beam malfunction.

I replaced the passenger side low beam bulb - didn't fix the issue. Then I replaced the ballast - that worked, but only temporarily. The headlight stopped working shortly after. (Note that the fog lights are working on both sides, and Driver's side low/hi beams work just fine).

Any ideas what could be causing the issue? Thanks!
