Silver trim restore

I would like to restore my silver trim along the windows. Anyone else do this and what did you use?

Lots of threads on this - search and you'll find them. Short version - it is almost impossible to restore once the trim starts delaminating like this. Solutions are replacements (I swapped black for "chrome") or wrapping them. Sorry.
