Retrofitting Ceramic Controls from 7er?
Anyone else thought about ripping out the ceramic I-Drive from the F01 and put it in their E9X? I noticed the housing is different, but the buttons are the same. So I think it would just be a matter of prying open the housing and taking off the buttons, I think.
I want to do this because I find the I-Drive controller to feel a tad bit cheap to me in my E90 and taking something out of BMW's flagship would solve this, I think. Key word in all of this is "I think." |
