Ok, I get it now. Your setup looks good. I think I'm going to look into the KW Sleeve kit, that may be the best solution but otherwise I will go with H&R. Can drop the front a lot more than the rear and have a spring system that works well not only with the OEM dampers but the front in tangent with the rear.

Hmm... Tempted to get the 435 sport springs as well. On your car the rear looks almost OEM with the 435s. Just the front is dropped nicely. Sounds like the KW sleeves will be in stock very soon. Maybe I should just wait until I can get those...

For stock 18's running KW HAS what spacer size would be the most aggresive but at the same time safe without rubbing while having two adults in the back seat.
Thanks! |

Depends on overall ride height. Either the 12/15mm combo or you can utilize 10/12mm if you want to be a bit more conservative.

HAS kits haven't yet been released from KW, but it has no effect on spacers as it would be no different than a lowered setup with springs (with adjustibility).

What wheels (size/style) are you running now? Same tires?

You will need to step down the rear spacer as the intention is to go flush with the current setup.

Would recommend dropping down to 10mm with the 295s.

You can probably get by with 15/18mm depending on aggressiveness. Would recommend 12/15mm instead.

Hey guys,
Has anybody noticed an increase in debris and/or dirt with 15/12 spacers? Any damage from kicking up anything? Waiting for my spacers to come from EAS and just wanted to see if there was any feedback.

Are you guys deciding on this solely based on looks and appearance?
To my understanding, the geometry and handling changes, scrub radius becomes different -- I would guess it makes sense to actually make some calculations to determine the final geometry and preserve either positive or negative scrub radius. Not just randomly install any spacers. A zero scrub radius could (based on my "investigative" studies) introduce unstable steering as the tire fights itself. As per the article on H&R website: http://www.hrsprings.com/technical/scrub_radius Last edited by kinimod; 10-13-2014 at 01:09 AM.. |
