Tick on engine shut off after rod bearings

I just did the rod bearings on my 09 115k mile m3.

I removed both engine belts with anticipation of replacing them, but could not find belts locally so i threw on original pulleys and belt.

The car runs great but on engine shut off, 5-8 seconds later very consistently there is a singular clink noise.

I also have the code: P1748
Here is a link to the audio file: https://file.io/uuTwBxIgINY4

Any thoughts what this could be?

Seems pretty unrelated to bearings, have driven the car 50 miles so far and it sounds great overall.

I noticed going into accessory mode will create pretty much the same clink. Cleared the code and p1748 never came back. Pretty unbothered overall, but I wish i knew what it was.

I did a oilfilter housing gasket repair, and fired up the car with the plenium on, wide open itb's. After I shut off the car, the actuators do this twitch motion, a very loud "tick". Maybe this is your issue.

I'm not sure im following. You think shutting off the car and the clink is just the actuators doing their final close?

What does this have to do with rod bearings?

Sounds unrelated.

In my mind it's completely related to the rod bearing job I just did. New noise pops up after half the car is disassembled and reassembled, why would I not mention I did all that lol.

However I've just started ownership of this car so it could have always been there.

I'll mess around with turning off the valves exposed and shut it off. A visual confirmation would set me at ease, thanks
