Wish List for my F06 born 09/2013 Factory: F010-13-07-506 Current: F010-14-03-503

-Auto-hold brake to switch off when Reverse is engaged
-No activation of Parking Brake at stop if Auto-hold on
-Speed regulator activated at start
-Turn Signal on Hud (HU_CIC/3000/HUD_TURNSIGNAL/aktiv + KOMBI/3000/BLINKER_HUD_ENABLE/aktiv) not working
-Lane change in HUD
-Change the triple blink count to any value

Any tips ?

I am a newbie to coding and will be getting my F32 next month. I don't have a computer science degree and have never done much programming. After reading this thread, I feel more confident in trying out "coding" (not really coding anything).

Please give me a few pointers on where newbie should start and what things to look out for...

E-Sys - How to Change FA in F-series car.pdf
E-Sys - How to Change Werte Values.pdf
Ensure car has adequate Voltage (On Charger or run Motor)
DO NOT ever hit the Code Default Values Button.

I can't find CAS>3000>TC TC_MSA_DEFAULT_OFF on my 2012 535i in order to turn auto start/stop off by default. I'd be happy with it remembering the last selection as well, but am I missing something? Where do I find this target setting?

Thank you for the quick reply. I foudn the first pdf (3 documents total) on page one. Where about are the second and third pdf located at? Do you have a good source for the cable and software needed?

Are you looking in all of CAS, or restricting you search to only section 3000?

I was probably too wordy in my last post, so here's my question

I would like the Cruise Control to be ON as soon as I start the car, so I can simply set speed by pressing the SET button. Is this possible for the F30? Thanks!!!

Pretty much. I might have missed one or two sections. Just hoping someone knew. I find it hard to concentrate or be patient when the car is running. Having a charger would make this easier.

Just use the search bar at the top, and search for FDL Codes by name. Understand though that the search bar searches only from the Top => Down, so make sure you start at the top of the CAFD, and do not have any leading or trailing spaces in your search term.

Thanks, Shawn. I was able to change 6NH to 6NL and then coded CMB_MEDIA and HU_ENTRY and now Enhanced Bluetooth EBT works like a charm.
Also, I can plug in my iPhone 5S via lightning cable (no Y adapter required) and it plays audio with cover art from Pandora.

I'm still not able to get text messages to appear in iDrive but I guess that is a different story!

When you guys do the coding, do you code each one individually or code all features within the same module altogether?

like if you want to do dvd speedlock and the lose disclaimers do you do "code fdl" after each change... or do you just do all the changes in HU_NBT and "code fdl" at the end?
