Download and copy to your CAFD library folder (C:\Data\psdzdata\swe\cafd).
Works great now, thanks!

Anyone know why I'm not seeing the right options in the dropdown when trying to connect to the car? Please see Image below.

**Note: I tried switching between each of the interface options including Connection via VIN and it made no difference. I'm using Windows 8 if that matters, as well.

Also, when changing settings, do you have to "code FDL" after each option or can you take a snapshot of the current code, changes the items of interest, then upload all of the coding information all at once?

If the "Open Connection" window under "Target" is empty (no targets), verify the following:
  1. That the "psdzdata" folder is installed properly (From the PSdZData_Lite or PSdZData_Full extraction, copy the "psdzdata" folder to "C:\Data\" (i.e. "C:\Data\psdzdata")
  2. That the psdzdata chassis folders each have an empty "dist" folder. Make sure that there is an empty "dist" folder in each of the psdzdata chassis folders, and if missing, create as needed, e.g.:
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F001\F001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F010\F010_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F020\F020_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F025\F025_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F056\F056_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\I001\I001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\K001\K001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\KE01\KE01_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\RR01\RR01_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
  3. The the E-Sys "Options" => "Settings" => "Directories => Data: path" is set properly (e.g. "C:\Data")

What would be an indication that the dealer updated the software on my car? I brought it in for oil and brake service. A few days ahead of the scheduled appointment, I had warning message that the Fr brake pads were due to be replaced. When they checked apparently the pads are good so they reprogrammed all service due mileage (waaay past the end of my warranty of course). Everything I had previously coded is gone, the overall avg. mpg I had up to the 33K miles on the car was reset to zero. Additionally, the warning sign for low fuel used to come up yellow, now the color is white and I don't need to clear it from the display anymore. Any thoughts???

I currently have E-Sys 3.24.3 and PSdZ 51.3 which I used a few months ago without problem. Have the E-Sys and PSdZ been updated?

Your coding being wiped out is evidence it was programed.

You need to update your PSdZData now. PM sent.

Enabling 6NK, 6NR, 6NS on F30

Hi Shawn,

I'm a rookie and need your help to get the e-sys software and token (seangio2014@gmail.com)

I have a 2014 328d modern line (Nav, folding mirrors, rear camera, sunroof, bluetooth for calls). I also updated the firmware to the latest version, UPD05021. Please note that I didn't buy the technology package but assuming that I have all the required hardware.

I'm interested in four functionalities:
1- Streaming media over bluetooth (now it only works via iPhone USB cable)
2- BMW Apps in connected drive
3- Reading SMS and Emails (works only for Android and not iOS)
4- Connecting to internet via phone (I know the car has SIM card and if I pay can connect to Internet using its own card but I want to tether instead)

And I already have the ENET cable.

Thanks

Trip Computer auto reset

Is it possible through coding to change the time delay after which the Trip Computer automatic reset triggers? I notice that if I stop a trip for a short time (say an hour or so) then the computer does not automatically reset. But if I stop for several hours then it does reset. I'm not sure exactly what the time duration is, but I would like it to be shorter than it is. Can this be changed through coding?

(trip computer == calculation of average mph, mpg, distance travelled, time duration)

This is for a 2014 F10 and 2015 F25.

Thanks

Yes.

KOMBI / 3000 / BC_AUTORESET_ZEIT

Default is 4 hours. Comment says:

00 -> reset after each ride
01-FE -> reset after XX hours (in hex)
FF -> never reset.

Thanks shawnsheridan!! I was also missing the CAFD file that was requested in a post from this morning, but your response fixed it for me as well. Just got everything coded and checked most of the items (some will take time to check like turning off the cornering fog light at night). Everything seems to be working great so far! You're our hero! If you're ever in SD, beer's on me!

For you it should be these:

MAPPING_STANDL_V_L_PWM_LEVEL_STANDARD
MAPPING_STANDL_V_R_PWM_LEVEL_STANDARD

I do not think ///M Logo on HUD is possible.
