My back seats fold down... do yours not? There is a handle on the top of the inside of the trunk you pull and it'll unlatch them.

no mine is just covered by a big blanket and there is no pulls or anything. it looks like the trunks big floor-mat.

is this what your trunk looks like ?

mine isn't like this with 3 separate lines i guess I'll need to cut into the blanket to see whats behind it.

You may not have it then just due to being delivered in Kuwait (every country gets shafted on some things).

I haven't tried in my F30 yet, but in my E90 it was quite easy to remove the back seats. First the part you sit on just pulls up and can be removed from the car, then a couple of torx bolts (t45 or t50 i think) at the bottom of seat back, then 2 catches that need to be released from inside the boot (trunk) on underside of the parcel shelf.

@teaston isn't this part of the extended storage option in the UK?

No the extended storage option, folding rear seats and folding rear headrests are part of the interior comfort pack.

But i'm pretty sure the non folding rear seats are removable in the way i described above.

First photo, seat bench just pulls up un clipping itself from the 2 points shown.

Second photo, 2 black torx bolts need to be removed

But I can quite work out the bit in the boot/trunk at the moment, and it's too damn hot outside so i'll look when it's cooler!

Interesting it's that easy. That looks like a huge torx bit... let me know what size it is when you get them pulled out?
