Cylinder2 Misfire, Check Engine !

Sup Guys!

I was expecting this, i was planing to change my Sparks/ignition coil at 80K km's but i got the engine check at 79 , car was stuttering a bit at 2000rpm so i knew it was soon.

I was on a tune Cobb stage 1 no FBO, brought it back to stock ( PPK1) and the engine check came back after 2 days

My question is : should i replace the whole thing ( sparks/coil) with Stock BMW and are there any better Alternatives ?

if so, is there any difference between the BoBosh sparks at Bavarian Autosport, same part number, 1 is geniune bmw though.

I used the bosch ones. No problems running stage 2+fmic and no problems with my ptf tune.

You might want to try see if if the issue is with your coil or not. Try change to another cylinder and see if the error follows. If it does, you have a bad coil. If not, can probably get away with just doing the plugs.

I got the same issue with putting back to stock map and the misfire is still there.....any feedback on after changing your plugs?

try swapping coils. If the misfire follows the coil, then replace it.

issue Fixed ( so far ) i changed all the Plugs, car runs like a dream on Cobb Tune Stage1 sport ST, if it happens again, Coils and Injectors are covered by CPO until then it's a daily Torque Monster
