I don't really care what some kid puts on his car, but I'm annoyed when another manufacturer steals the idea....

Get real, spelling and grammer does not mean anything on an internet forum. Oh and since when is "shit" and "fail" pretending to sound "hardcore"? Get a life, this is an internet forum, people curse and mis-spell all the time. How dare you say that i am making personal insults on you, when you are the one who researched me.
Cut the personal attacks out, the only time when a person ever brings up the other persons spelling is when they have nothing better to say and want to sound more intelligent.
As for black kidney grills, i already responded to this and will not repeat myself.

As for roundels, BMW of North America is as guilty as I am. They give out brochures and pamphlets with black/white roundels. You are trying to act like such a smart-ass when in reality you are just a person who has nothing going for yourself, so you can and personally attack people on the internet.

Goodjob buddy, you are super hard now! I wish i could be more like you! I bet thats what you wish people would think.

I might as well repeat myself one last time, because it seems as though you do not comprehend sentences very well unless they are repeated.

If the owner of a BMW decides to mess around with BMWs trademarks, it is NOTHING like taking one of Audis trademarks.
According to your remark, changing the color of kidney grills is as bad as putting Ferrari emblems on my car.
They are NOTHING alike, nor are they even on the same level.
I admit, changing roundel color is messing with the trademark, but nowhere near as bad as taking another companys trademark.

You, my good sir, will most likely just continue on with your "intelligent" remarks on how my grammer or spelling is off. I could honestly care less, you have just proved yourself to be extremly close-minded and you have no intetion of listening to what anyone has to say.
So Goodbye, thank you for the debate.

I wonder if the circles on the infiniti rears were derived from the coronas. We all know that Infiniti has been a competitor with BMW for quite a while. I wonder if it is tacky to get an after market match to get the rears of a three to shine circles. I had a thought about that once but decided, no. Nothing original about that.

+1. but maybe not an exclusive trademark. pontiac's also have them. just dont know who came out with it first.

also, i just remembered how people here pointed out that the e90 tailights look like it came from a Geo. lol. why did BMW copy the Geo?

They aren't quad coronas, it's not stealing a BMW trademark.

If it makes the car look better, and if it's done right, then I'm all for it. I just don't want to see any blatant ripoffs (quad headlamps with coronas).

I am putting OEM E55 Xenons in my 94 Escort. In order to have the precise cut off pattern, I need a clear lense. My OEM lights have a fluted pattern to them so I cant use them.

Lights off of a 1996? BMW are almost the same shape. That is why I will have angel eyes.

Let's be real, I believe Hella was the inventor of the Angel Eyes back with the LCI E39 530.

BMW obviously bought in and they are everywhere now.

Another company could have easily picked up on Hella's designs.

What a stupid thing to get your panties in a wad about. OMG! That other car company built a car with 4 wheels! What poseurs! We had square headlights first! We had projector headlights first! We had BBS wheels first! WAHHHH!

Cars come out with styling trends, like fenders that were part of the body instead of sticking out. Like pillarless hardtops. like quad headlights. Like pop-up headlights. Then others adapt those ideas and move on. That's how it works. Get over it.

Buncha babies.
