Tool that can read max RPMs?
I heard recently that dealers cannot check the max RPM that an engine has reached with their diagnostic tools. Is there an aftermarket tool that can read this info?
About to start helping my dad look for a car. For Porsche, there is a diagnostic tool that reads overrevs (Durametric) - it would be great if there was something similar for our cars. Thanks, Dave |

Compare the two web sites, and you'll see the similarities. http://www.durametric.com/default.aspx http://www.bavariantechnic.com/ |

I've got the BT Tool and it does not show some of that shadow data like max revs. Benvo read those out to me when I got my tune.
