Do the LUX flickers when car starts up? I read your description that the lights needs to be on auto?

If you have your DRL Lights ON then will not flicker, otherwise they will.

I would recommend the MTEC 4500k bulbs for the fog lights. They will still be very bright but a much better color then stock.

I installed the H8s on my 2010 M3 coupe and they look great. I think just a little more attention to detail in the design might have made them easier to install -- making indexing marks in the heatsink to help visualize where the alignment tabs are, for example -- but it only took half an hour.

The flickering would only be on start up for about 5-10 seconds. The car does its self check of the lights during that period

They flickering is barely noticeable. I can't imagine being concerned with it in any way.
