07 335i - Knock Sensor Fault

I have a 2007 335i with 90k. It started going into limp mode with a knock sensor code. This started out being pretty sporadic (once every few days) It even went 10 days without a limp mode after I replaced the spark plugs. Then it got much worse, going into limp almost on every drive.
So I pulled the intake and replaced the knock sensors. It drove great for 3 days then went into limp mode again with the same knock sensor code.

I'm looking for suggestions on where to check for this intermittent issue.
Thanks in advance.

My issue was resolved by having the DME updated with the latest release. No problems with JB4 any longer....looks like I replaced the knock sensors for no reason. Oh well, at least I learned how easy it is to get the intake off.

knock sensor question

I have a 2012 335i and suddenly have to have the engine serviced soon. I took it to a BMW shop last week, which didn't detect any problems. I connected my OBD2 this week, and a knock sensor failure came up. The car runs perfectly with no issues. Do you have any ideas? I'm planning to replace the sensor this weekend.
