add e85 to fix timing corrections MHD

Quick question, I believe I got some bad 93 oct in my car. My prior logs have all been great , very little to no timing corrections. However after filling up this last time I have some corrections across all 6 cylinders which I believe could be due to poor quality 93 . Could I safely add like 2-3 gallons of E85 to my tank to try and up the octane and see if it will help with the timing corrections?

Currently have MHD stage 2+ , all maintenance up to date. Dci's , intercooler, downpipes. Running v8 93oct stage 2+ map on MHD .

Thanks in advance!!

yes, i ran E maps with ZERO mods, you are still on gas tune so a little E85 will only bump your octane levels

You can always dial back to lower octane tunes to if E85 don't do anything (altho it should if octane is the problem).

Cool thanks, yea I don't want to run E maps until I have the stage 2 lpfp etc. Just looking to minimize/eliminate corrections on this tank until I can refill with fuel thats up to par .

You think like 2-3 gallons with the rest 93 would be good enough, and safe?

Yeah, no issue adding some ethanol to a tank of gas. The car will compensate fueling needs and you'll get back the octane you lost.

How much should I add for -3 corrections across all 6? I’m also losing 3 degrees timing
