Sorry if this question is answered a bunch but none of the other posts I found really helped me.

I have a Pixel 8 Pro running Android 14 with YouTube Music as my main audio app. I would like to use the HUD and scroll wheel to display songs instead of the previous and next buttons. I've tried a bunch of stuff in Bimmercode with no luck, is this something that's even possible in my 2017 F36 440i? If this isn't possible is there any other app I can use to get this functionality, I don't have any album art over Bluetooth or USB function either, it only lets me charge my phone. I know bmw and android really don't play well but hopefully someone knows how I can fix some of this

Side note I work at a dealer and I swear I've connected my phone to a car before where this was possible but I don't remember which one, maybe a m235i or an X2 not sure but I'm almost positive it was idrive 6 and I had the ability to scroll but no album art.

HUD will not work with YT or any other 3rd party app when it comes to music. OEM only.
