Gaz's E92 Montego Blue *LCI M Sport Conversion* Interior Wrapped UPDATE 26/01/15
So bought my car last year, didn't think I would be doing too much to it...
It is an E92 330D SE, here are some stock pictures. Have a built thread in the UK Section but I thought I would update on here as well for everyone to see Last edited by GOWRIN; 01-26-2015 at 07:08 AM.. |

+1, I don't think I've seen an LCI-converted front! Looks very good. Great work

To convert is it just plug and play?
Parts list would be headlights, bumper and grills? The front end of my car is the last thing on my appearance to do list and this route might be worth venturing down

Great work looks a million times better and it already looked a very clean car! How 'plug and play' were the LCI headlights and rear lights? The black window trims and spoiler make a huge difference too for small mods!

Thank you Thanks Thank you Quote:
Parts needed, bumper (all grilles and air ducts), hood, headlights (inc brackets) and FRM3 module (max brose would be the best option). Thanks Quote:
Rear lights are straight forward, just need the lights, wiring harness and simple coding. Front lights are a little more work, lights swap out fine but will need FRM3 module and more advanced coding (wasn't able to code it myself). And the whole front end need changing to LCI (bumper and hood). Yeah defo the small changes make a huge difference especially the spoiler!

Okay so the interior needed freshening up...
Bought the car with a grey interior, wasn't really feeling it so hunted around for an M Sport Interior, decided to go with black as that was the only colour that went well with the blue wanted a dark interior. Car came with Piano Black Trim which was a bonus But was a nightmare as it scratched easily and smudged so it was annoying driving around seeing blemishes. So I decided to wrap to conserve the trim and at the same time to give it a new look went with a carbon fibre wrap, done it myself and came out about 90% perfect given I had never wrapped anything before While I was at it changed to M Sport steering wheel and gear and LED interior lights Interior Mods so far... M Sport Leather Seats M Sport Steering Wheel M Sport Gear LCI Start/Stop Button Carbon Fibre Interior Wrap LED Interior Lights

Very well done, loving the car!
A drop coming soon? Definitely would set off the exterior perfectly and a dual outlet exhaust conversion would be nice as well! Just my opinion, either way the car is coming together very nicely! |
