Engine Problem

I have a 2007 335i with 100k highway miles.
I was parking my car last night and got a service engine code and it started to idle really rough. I scanned the codes and it said misfire in cyl 3 4 and 5. I replaced all 6 spark plugs today and not I have a p1554 code. The car will drive good for about a minute and then the service engine light will come on and idle rough. Any Ideas? I will clean out the VANOS solenoid tomorrow and change the oil. Thanks

What about the coil packs ? They are not suppose to last that long. I will assume that that it is cylinder 3 that is misfiring and causing the next two (4-5) to have an issue. Just buy all 6 coils from autohausaz.com ( $40each)

Like MPoster said, it could be coils, but you do need to know the codes.

could be injectors, but check the cheap stuff first as it is more than likely a coil pack.

This is a possibility, as others have notes pull some codes first to see what's really going on.

I agree....change your coils dude. I also feel your fuel pump is going. This many misfires in this many cylinders sounds fuel deficient. Any knock sensor codes by chance?
