128i What to repair first?
2011 128i
88k miles Just had front brakes replaced. Tech said the following needed: Oil filter housing gasket Oil pan gasket Main belt worn What is the order of priority? Thanks. Scott |

Pretty easy to do the OFHG at the same time as belt replacement. Lots of duplication of work.
They all leak. Big leaks can hurt the belt. Minor leaks can go forever with the residual benefit of preventing rust! |

Agreed. Belt and oil filter housing gasket are priority.
Later on, you can tackle the oil pan gasket and plan for other things while you’re there if needed, like engine mounts, etc. |

Mickey Mouse flange (preventative, not a repair as such – when it becomes a repair, it'll strand you on the side of the road first). When were the plugs last replaced?
But yes, definitely OFHG, belt, and pulleys. N52s (and 51s) eat belts if they break. |
