You can replace it even after you complete your work on your valve cover if you did not get this gasket.

This item almost never seals correctly, or fails shortly after valve cover R&R. When and if it fails to seal, it will cause more problems than what the part is worth ($11).
Thank you for the heads up, i changed that part with a new gasket from Elring and also replaced the screws. The cover originally came with a gasket but to be sure of quality i used a whole new gasket set before installing.

Welp. I’ll start off by saying last night and today was a total fail. Last night I decided to install my g-plus intercooler but to no avail I couldn’t get the passenger side hose back on. I had the stock intercooler out in 35 minutes in my garage on jackstands, which I was pretty proud of. I had the new intercooler in position about 20 minutes later and had the driver side pipe in 10 minutes are that. I then struggled for the next 2 hours trying to get the passenger side one fully seated. I tried silicon spray, taking the hose of the turbo for more room and countless other things. I then took the it back off the car and removed both hoses to install it on the intercooler off the car and it still wouldn’t fit. Wrapped it up for the night and then the next morning worked on getting the stock one back in place. Somehow the stock intercooler slipped out of the channel it stays in and crushed my ac condenser. I felt pretty loopy after that. All the refrigerant purged in my garage. Today was fucked.

Also anyone used CSF? They are a great brand but just seems cheap! Added the OE option too.

I went ahead and got the CSF. We shall see how long it’ll take to get here. I’m just glad I have a warranty via FCP Euro. Any idea how much an ac charge is?

I gave up on my catch can for now. I didn’t like how it was looking in my engine bay and after 1000 miles I only had two drops of oil in the can. I might come back to this DIY eventually. 🫡

I gave up because I couldn't get the hoses to cross without one being pinched.

zener...."Summer tires on" with a pile of snow still on the ground....lol....on a more serious note, when you are finished with those Alpina Classic wheels, please plan to ship those to the USA...I'd love to have those on my F10 in the future.

New condenser is in. I went with CSF and the quality seems superb. Fin density is a little different than stock but isn’t too much different. Time to get the AC recharged soon.
