Would it work with the Supra pump hpd6 evo pump? Basically want to go with a pump that will run on a factory tune so I can pass an emissions test if needed.

No reason why it wouldn't

That's probably the most powerful pump that would right? The xi-35, spool, and dorch engineering all wouldn't run very well with an ots or mppk tune right?

The tune isn't going to cause you to fail emissions. A catless downpipe or a cheap catted downpipe that cause a Check Engine Light will cause an emissions fail (depending on how your state does emissions testing).

Remember that a tune like BootMod3 only suppresses the CEL from popping up on your dashboard. An emissions test will still see it as soon as they plug into the OBD port under your dash.

I know I just want hardware that will run fine when flashing back to stock mppk tune for emissions test. Then go back to custom stage 2 for in between tests.

All pumps are capable of running any Map...including S1. Only difference, XDI, SPOOL and Dorch need the calibration files to run.

With the exception of the HP6, if you ever have to flash back to stock and lock DME, your car won't run

Hp6 it is then plus it'll feed up to 600 whp. Perfect ticket. Just gotta find a low miles used one on the German ebay or something.

Obviously you'll still need a custom tune to maximize your pump

Yep I plan on having a custom e50 tune along with 93 octane stored in the cloud.😎

These pumps are weak and stressed when trying to run ethanol. I feel as my vehicle runs good with map E30 v7.0, even though I know my HPFP pressure drops, but it still runs smooth. I want a good race fuel map, since it is less stress on the HPFP, but that makes more power.

I'm trying to understand how safe and error free the new version is before flashing it on my car which is running very well right now on the previous version. Thanks!
Ive had 0 issues with 7.0
Same with me. Running it about 2 weeks. Stage 1 91 oct. i have 93 available but run 91 map for a little protection.

I found my logs to actually be much cleaner than 6.4.
They werent bad before but i did have some timing pulls here and there and now there really arent any.

Power actually feels smoother in delivery at low rpms.

My only gripe is that seems HP isnt increased much so after the significant low end torque you dont make much more power north of 4.5k rom which leaves things feeling a bit flat.

It's odd how people chime in with the comment of zero issues with v7 but when asked for logs, it shows overboost and HPFP crashing.

Stop relaying on your butt dyno people and start logging more often. Just because it "feels" a certain way it doesn't mean all is well.

Not necessarily. You can make a copy of your stock tune then click the upgraded HPFP option in the customization menu and flash.

Made a quick log with v7.0

It looks like there is a dip halfway through on one of the parameters even though I was WOT. Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

It was a second gear pull not third if that matters

That's throttle closure due to overboosting. You can see your boost target is 17.2 but you hit 20.2 so the DME closes the throttle. This seems to be consistent behavior for this version. I'm not sure if it is expected or not. Not much explanation from Halim at PTF.
