Performance Steering Wheel v2 power help

Hey guys

Installing my performance electric v2 steering wheel on my 1M.

Found the DIY for the v1 and guys tapped the ash tray but my 1m doesn\'t have the tray.

The BMW directions state using OBDII CONNECTOR but the wiring marked for the green and green brown do not provide power.

Any assistance is appreciated

Hey sal,

I did it late last night got 90% done.. Except for tapping the wrong connector and breaking a small pin (im sure someone has the tool to re-crimp but it works for now.

All thats left is power and boy is this wheel sexy

I got mine earlier today. Looking through the DIY and it doesn't look that simple. Anyone whose got it down should really post an update to the DIY if there's any changes =)

Make sure you jump the BLUE CONNECTOR passenger footwell..... RED TO RED BLUE TO BLUE

The power is the only issue at this time.. from what i see the OBDII is where power comes from....any input ?

Post pics! I just forked out 3hrs labor for the stealership to install.

I didnt want to deal with the hassle. BTW, I have the v1!.

I agree and damn it feels sooooo good too. Mine just came in the mail today, cant wait to get it powered up and play. I'm gonna have Matt throw it on for me, sure we'll find where to get it powered up.

I'm not sure which one i like now v1 or v2 the lcd will clash with my guage cluster (orange OEM) now this dilemma will bother me for the next 48 hours SMH!
