Clear transmission adaptations after DME update?

I just had my 07 335i 6AT taken into a local Indy shop to get some software updates done. The shop used Autologic and showed that my engine had an update available. There were no updates available for the transmission. I had the engine updated and was wondering if it's a good idea to reset transmission adaptation values with my BT cable after having DME updated. The specialist said that I didn't have to clear the adaptations on the transmission and I'm just looking for a second opinion.

Somebody here posted about holding down the gas pedal etc. once, though I can't quite remember what it was.

I was told the car adapts itself ...

I ve noticed when I drive more aggressive ( a week or two) the tranny behaves more aggressively then when I drive moderately ( winter time ) the tranny behaves moderately
