Will these fit? F: 19x9 ET20 / R: 19x10.5 ET30?
Hello, I'm new to the forum so I apologize if starting a new thread is the incorrect thing to do for a simple question. Anyways, I purchased some wheels with the dimensions listed in the title. Fronts: 19x9 +20, 225/35/19 - Rears: 19x10.5 +30, 245/30/19 5x120...
The wheels whom I purchased from used these on a 435i on bags no problem. I am still very new to this stuff and this was my first real nice set of wheels. He said these will fit very nice for my car. I have been researching for the past day or so and I literally been on every thread I think trying to find the closest rim specs to mine. Quite a bit of people running some super aggressive setups and don't seem to have any rubbing, then some with less do. So I'm confused about this... I got an amazing deal on these wheels and tires and I hope they will actually fit! What do you guys think?? My F30 328i is sitting stock atm. Will these rub in the rears? Do I need to fender roll or have the hub shaved by mm?? Add some negative camber? Thanks very much guys!! Hope I can make these work. Last edited by Adamt916; 10-14-2016 at 12:05 AM.. |

no, front is way too aggressive. they will sit 27mm further out than stock 18x8 et34s. pretty sure without camber, stretched tires and a whole lot of low these will not fit and look ridiculous.
this thread from a few days ago is pretty much the same as yours http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1313678

I am planning on lowering it and if some camber is needed, I will do that as well. Thanks! |

Hey everyone, I was reading through the forum about the offset. I purchased some hre ff04 19x9 et 20 squared. the fitment does look to be very agressive in the front but if i throw on some 225/40 on there, does anyone know if it’ll look alright. anybody have a similar set up as well? Returning them costs way too much, but i might list them up for sale. I’d appreciate any help!

"alright" is subjective...if stretched tires poking out looks alright to you, then it will look alright. personally i'm not a fan of stretched tires or poke. stretched tires and out of spec neg camber are the only way to have the upper tire shoulder poke less if the offsets are too low. imo both front and rear offsets are too low. depending on the tire size, the outer shoulder of the front may rub the fenderwell liner while turning at or near full lock next time, determine the tire size(s), proper widths and offsets before buying. especially if they are big ticket items that are unreturnable... . The fronts offset is 10mm too aggressive. Even with a 235 tire you will be poking 15-20mm past the fender on stock suspension. You might not poke if you get camber plates and 2.5-3° of camber. Ideally you should run a 255 on a 9".
