Where do these LEDs go?

It depends, 3 series don't need housing, 4 series would need housing. I learned that lesson when I bought LED off of amazon and couldn't install on my 4 series cause it was for 3 series.

I've replaced all my bulbs with LED, none have contacts that look like those.

Those are 194 style lights, and are not used by BMW, at least not in a grand scale. Chances are, they don't apply to your car.
