Rough idle from cold start

2010 E92 M3.

AT cold start I'm getting rough idle, hunting between 700-1500RPM for about a minute. It's due for an oil service, so I'll be bringing this up, but is this common? Known issue?

Idle sensor. Normal problem.

This has to be one of the most common threads in the forum, but they don't get old.
Yes, totally normal... She gets very cranky everytime she wakes up. And it's a beautiful thing... I love it!!!

Normal, and actually made slightly worse w/one of the smaller underdrive pulleys (ie Dinan). Got an ESS tune and it's far less noticeable now.

I just had my cold start tuned out and now the idle is smooth. I did have the problem before though.

Mine has suddenly started doing this, at 8300 miles.
The only changes in situation are:
- hardly used the car in the last 2 weeks
- ran it twice for about 2 minutes each time, when I moved it to make space for washing my wife's car, so neither time had a chance to warm up
- the weather has suddenly warmed after weeks of cold wet stuff
- the car went into the dealership for gearbox oil/filter change (maybe they updated s/w without telling me?)

mine did that on colder mornings and if i didn't drive off right away after cold start...after i got my tune and updated to 231E, i haven't seen it come back yet...fingers crossed
