E46 Rear suspension pocket failure VIR. Where is our failure point?
E36's pulled the threaded bosses out of their rear trailing arm mounts.
E46's pull the whole pocket out!! Very dramatic. Stout cage did its job!!! What is the failure mode for e82's? I am guessing the steel suspension arms. No one has seen subframe bolts rip out?

That is crazy!
With time chassis fatigue can set in. I think we will need more time and track miles to find out the weakest link. |
