Xenon to Halogen Conversion ???
New guy to the forum here ! Just became the owner of a 2010 328IX and having some headlight issues. I recently replaced the xenon bulbs don't know why but the front of the halo's melted and fell off. I can only assume it was heat from the new bulbs. The factory lights are also adaptive but currently aren't working. An buddy of mine has a set of non adaptive halogen lights from a 2011 he's willing to give me. My question is can i replace the xenon hid's with the halogen ones ?

Yes. You’ll have the same functions, except high beams
and a few errors. You need to remove the adaptive headlight and bi xenon options from your VO. You can also manually code the FRM for the halogens to work properly and not have any dash errors. |
