Folks, can someone confirm if there is a specific model screen I need as a replacement? I see some screens listed as non-touch screen vs touch screen. To be honest I have no idea if mine is a touch screen, as I just realized that I always used the controller. Is the touch screen LCI (post 2015) only? I assume I can just acquire a replacement screen and not have any issues?

I am assuming any "L7 CID High" screen will drop in, but wanted to confirm.

My car is a 2014 F30 (non-LCI), has the Nav, HUD, standard (non-HK) audio.

My OEM screen has over the past month bit the dust.

just get the same screen. either realoem.com or take the screen off and you can get the p/n off it.

it’ll be pnp since you are replacing it with the same one.

and no, you cant just order any 8.8 screen. it has to be compatible with your HU.

and you don’t know if yours is touch? seriously? touch the screen - does it work? no, then it’s not touch and touch did not come out until 2018, so yours is not touch but it was super easy for you to even know that yourself by simply touching the screen

Your other option which is way cheaper also is an aftermarket android unit.U can increase the size as well.

If you're looking for OEM, you'll need a screen from another 2014-2015 3 or 4 series. The touchscreen will only work on 2017-2019 F30, F32, F36 vehicle equipped with the NBT EVO head unit.
