You've got all that? I'm in the same boat, and I'm running map 2 all day everyday!!
Except, this past week.... A bit rainy, so I hopped back on map 0 or 1.

Supposedly race gas for map 7 but I've been running with my mods and it's much faster than Map 2 with just 93 and it runs fine

I'm honestly just an occasional Map 1 kinda guy. Just wondering if I can run map 2 with 91 octane, Intake, Charge Pipe, and muffler delete?

Or is that going to be bad for my engine? I've never done it.

Edit: I don't have a dowpipe, nor do I want to get one.

I'm on map 2 all the time. The only difference in boost comes when u floor it.

If anyone has a different opinion and thinks this is detrimental please let me know.

Thanks for all feedback guys! I've been running some (butt dyno) test on the jb4 on map 0/1/2, I run 98 octane V-power here in sunny Singapore.

For those running on map 2, I usually drive around 1/4 depression of the pedal and I kinda feel the low end torque on map 2 is not as responsive as map 0 (bypass ppk stage 2). There seems to be quite a significant lag? No doubt once you floor the thing, the boost and power is far greater than map 0/1. Has anyone felt this way or is the kick you get very linear even from low rpms like 1300 onwards for map2?

Map 1 however seems more stable as compared to map 2, in terms of normal driving with traffic lights etc. I feel more of the torque at lower rpms.. Has anyone experienced a split second jerk during constant acceleration other than gear change? I've felt it couple times even with map 2..

Just to update you guys more, I'm running ar catless dps, afe drop in, cpe cp, eisenmann sport exhausts and the ppk stage 2.

My personal opinion is that no doubt the jb4 produces more power, but the power delivery isn't very linear/smooth as compared to driving on map0 with ppk.

Anyone has thoughts on this?

For me, map 2 power seems linear. Of course there's a little lag but low end and higher the torque is there.

The problem is that you always want more.
