F83 Amp Replacment

Hello everyone, my 2016 M4 Cabrio recently just blew the amplifier due to water damage I assume? Anyways, I just bought a new amp and I’m confused as if the Harman Kardan amp is the same or different than the standard. Is the “Top Hifi” amp different than an HK one? Thanks.

Yea, the amps are different. I think 2015 (in the US anyway) was the only year the HK system was an option vs standard, so you likely have the HK.

Yea, i mean, definitely verify it says HK on the door speaker before buying, i could be wrong about the year it went standard.

My 2015 only has the hifi and it was miserable until I upgraded to the bimmer-tech amp.
