Has anyone experienced clicking noise from front brakes?
I got clicking noise coming from the front brakes when I come to a slow stop. I then looked at it from the outside of the car and as the brake is pressed at a slow speed the caliper shifts causing the clicking noise. And I have fresh BMW brakes on there. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Figured it out! BMW did my last brake job, so I figured it needed to be checked back over. In doing so I seen me caliper was dry. So I greased the caliper and I bought a Brake hardware kit ($15.00 on ebay) and installed that too!
No more caliper movement, which was causing that loud popping noise...Problem solved!!!!!

I had the same issue for a really long time. Oddly enough, I got a brake fluid flush done about 2 weeks ago and i don't hear it anymore. BMW only inspected my pads and said there was no need to replace (they also suggest 15k mile oil changes lol)

I'd say your the closest to what BMW NA told me. I had been to my dealer with my E92 about 10 times with jus one line on the repair order, "Customer states check and advise on loud noise in front brakes" Of course they never find anything, I even got a free rotor change out of it but sadly enough I've just learned to deal with it lol. Apparently its a small price to pay for having some good brakes on a car. Floating calipers is what I've come to the conclusion causes the issue mainly due to the fact the pads basically just "slap" around when the calipers shift. Its obviously going to be more prevalant when your pads are running low as this would cause more space to be in between pads and rotors. I recommend adding grease to the pads and, I'm not so sure if I have ever seen one of these "brake hardware kits" but im sure it does the job as well. Long story short, if you have this car and don't want to go out of your way, your just going to have to deal with it lol . Unless you wanna spend 8k on the Big Brembo Kit

Get this hardware kit. grease the calipers and lightly sand the pads if they were uneven. My pads were 8 months old and they had a lot left in it, but I seen that they were slightly uneven. It worked for me...
