Engine valve cover replacement

Has anyone had issues with leaking from engine valve covers? I replaced the gaskets 2 years back on my '09 due to small leaks. 1.5 years later more leaks so replaced gaskets again. But started leaking again shortly after. Now dealer is recommending to replace the entire valve covers. Is this a common problem with M3s? Tried a search but no one else seems to have has this problem?

My cars has 80000kms and I track it.

Also is there anything that I should be doing at the same time that my valve covers are coming off?
