I tried lemon with vinegar (I read they didn't like lemon as well), but it didn't seem to work. Problem is that it's on the 2nd floor and I have to climb there every time I attempt to do something. Maybe will try that sods bottle next since it seems the probably is like 5 bees that won't leave it alone

I would exterminate (kill them dead) them.

You need to go all out and spare no effort. Both sides of the structure need treatment. Spray from outside then crawl into the attic and do the same. Do this repeatedly until all bees are deceased.

Plugging with foam will do nothing.

If I knew there is a large hive, yes that's what I would do right away. But I figured maybe it's not there yet. After I sealed the hole, I don't hear anything.....
I'd….. get a thermo imaging of the area just to be sure.. one morning, you just may find yourself brushing your teeth, pausing a moment to listen because you thought you heard a fly…… by the way it sounds, you sorta know it isn't…. hoping it's not what you suspect while walking around with a toothbrush hanging out of your mouth drooling toothpaste foam thinking..please don't let it be bees….

then seeing a stray bee fly by in the house…..your toothbrush hits the floor…. Mind races to panic at the thought of the worst case scenario ….F$$$$$$$K loads of money to get them out.

And now you know the story of how I got into bees and the beekeeping hobby!

Not bees but got rid of some wasps with killer spray, find out the gap they're getting in and get them when they're arriving and leaving. If its a big nest call your council.

About a year ago I was helping a family member cut down a tree in front of their house. I had a backhoe and had the hoe portion of the machine up against the tree putting pressure on it to help direct it the way we wanted it to fall. As he was cutting the tree I see him start moving back and forth, then drop the saw on the ground and start running. Apparently there was an underground nest at the base of the tree. I struggled with the seatbelt inside the machine for about 30 seconds before I was able to get out and run for it. They swarmed around the tree until dark. He was stung about 10 times, somehow I avoided it completely.

So I took an unpleasant hike to attic today (fuck vented attics), took me an hour with clean up. I saw exactly 1 bee there. Sprayed that entire area with vinegar as suggested before. (I don't have anything else now). Next plan is to hang that soda bottle so I can get rid of 5 bees outlets.
I mean I dont know anything about bees and hive. But 1 bee inside and 5 outside doesn't look like some extreme case

I used the stuff below in combo with a shopvac to remove a rather large hive that was under a HVAC unit on Condo porch. I used several cans and as the numbers went down I shuffled in about 8 foot of shopvac hose to suck up the nest little by little. Looking back it was stupid but i got the job done, wasnt stung and they didnt come back while I owned it.

I used the same spray last summer to get rid of some small hives that were being built under my shutters and they havent come back. I'd suggest to use a mask when spraying.

I used some spray, but it just kills them, there isn't that many to kill. I thought it would repel bees, but it doesn't

Shit. Lol. Wait until you run over a Yellow Jacket hive with a lawn mower. One wasp. Sheesh.

So beekeepers said it's yellow jackets not honey bees. I am surprised they didn't attack me. Many were just circling around me while I was sealing the hole 2 inches away from them. Don't really care about getting stung, but falling from the roof could've been an issue

Yeah, my son calls wasps "nature's assholes." They do seem to just sting for no apparent reason, they don't really provide any benefit. Always go through a few cans of wasp spray every summer.

At 14 I almost died by the same situation. Underground nest, ran over it with a lawn mower, 14 stings, no clue I was allergic. One of those "the next thing I knew was the last thing I remembered" situations. Woke up roughly 8 hours later looking like the Michelin man - completely swollen, blotchy, difficulty breathing, etc. The neighbors son took me to the ER; I don't remember any of it.

There is no one to fog, I have no clue where they are. My juice didn't work, sticky tape for bugs did. Caught like 50 of them. Going to monitor this for a few days and if no changes then planning to call pest control. This is getting very annoying. I am fucking soaked in chemicals

I know how bees and yellow jackets look if I look close at them. It's just when they were so friendly flying around me, I didn't even think it's yellow jackets. They actually ate through construction foam, now I am reading need liquid nails to seal....sick of this, I can barely reach that place standing on a roof near falling all the time and wasps circling around me.

Still in your yard? Do your neighbors complain?

I so want to set up a box, but the "good" spots in my yard are along block walls that have a neighbors' (plural) back door on the opposite side. Not sure if I want them too close to the chicken coop either, I figure one or the other won't be there after a summer of encounters.
