Ever request for another SA?
Would there be any repercussions if you ask for another SA when you bring your car in for service? What about the surveys that BMWNA and dealer sends you after servicing? If you make one tiny negative comment about your SA, would you bring your car back to the same dealer for service?

exactly, you don't have to go back to the same masseuse for your happy ending. You're the customer, your call.

I don't even have a certain SA. I call service, request an appt, then bring my car in. When I get there the first available SA comes up and helps me.

I switched dealers AND SA's at the switched-to dealer.
Still yet to find one I am truly happy with.

i made a service appointment yesterday and i found out my main SA does not work there anymore. They reassigned me to my former SA who i didn't work well with, and I requested to switch to another SA who i have temporary worked with for a day while my main SA had the day off. I don't think there's any harm in switching SA.

Absolutely.
If you don't have the balls to ask for another SA, and you can tell he doesn't know sh.t. from shinola... you deserve whatever mistakes he makes while placing the order for your car. Both my father and I have gotten shafted by SA's in the past. Now, if an SA so much as misquotes a single detail on a to-be order of ours... he loses major points. Step up and ask for somebody who knows what they are talking about! -Chris |

I wouldn't think there would be really any repercussions. When you switch SA, your new SA will only try to help you and not exact revenge for the other SA. He's there to make money and not by digging himself in a hole and exacting his revenge for a fellow SA. He's looking out for numero uno. Unless the SA are on the same team, then maybe you got a problem.
ps: yea if you leave a negative comment, they will be pissed as shit. |

What does a SA have to do with ordering your car? I thought they're the ones that just fixes it for you? or do you mean Sales person?

Indeed you are correct about it meaning Service Advisor, but it's a common mistake for people new to BMW to think otherwise. One would assume that SA means Sales Advisor, while BMW uses the term Client Advisor instead.
