I just got my windshield replaced by Safelite as a result of a large crack. The window they put in was OE and had a purplish tint embedded in it from the factory. Just a guess but previous owner may have replaced it. I actually prefer the new one

Depending on where it's from, it could be tint. My friends get their's tinted a little bit (45%), so that they don't get caught. It helps keep their car cooler.

If it changes a little with polorized glasses then you prob have some really light % tint on there, like someone said its probably llumar air 80, thats what I have on my front and it really helps. Money well spent that seems like you got for free.
