HA! I'm driving around just now and just saw my first my first CLA 250 driving. Simular color to mineral gray. Talked to the guy our cars were next to each other at the light. It's a good looking ride but let's just say I got the 4 series. Hey just picked it up and it was his first Benz. Every option including sport.

Also got a guy in a G37s coupe saying he loved my car and its his next one.

I'm with you on the tires. I have a 435 M Sport on order (MG with black interior) and the RF tires will be replaced with Michelin PS A/S 3 or Pilot Super Sports. We rarely get snow here in the Carolinas and the PSS's on my e46 have been awesome tires. I'm on my third set now.

Jup, I know! Lived in Stavanger for a couple of years... Cars in Norway are twice the price compaired to Sweden.

Everything in Sweden is 3x as much as it is here in the U.S. I was in for a nice surprise my second night in Stockholm last summer at Berns when I got the bill...a table with a bottle of Belvedere and a cheap Veuve Clicquot, 12800 SEK.

The only downside to the M sport brakes is that the car ends up coming with summer perf tires. So you will need to plan on getting some winter wheels/tires if you are going to drive the car in the winter there.

My friend (who just got the same color combo in a 335xi) just found this out as well (even though his tires are ContiSportContacts).

Still,I think they look cool.

Yea, I was going to order the summer tires either way. Luckily we hardly ever get snow in Raleigh. And if we do, I get to stay home.

EDIT: I guess even on a clear day, the cold temps could negatively affect the traction of the Summer tires if it gets really cold.

Under 32 and they are going to get a little slippery. The car will still be drivable - just be good

edit: The OP on the other hand, being in NY, may want to consider either all seasons or snows

Love the matte red interior. Bold, but not garish. Looks great overall!

I've been in NYC a number of years but just got a CPO 2011 e90 328i xdrive for the daily commute to Hackensack.

Any thoughts on all-seasons vs snows around here? I'm pretty sure I'll stick with the stock Contipro contact run-flats, but have you found better all-seasons for our area/type of driving?

Good question....
In talking with the folks at Nokian, they pointed out that snow tires are really for snow - the type of stuff you get in real snowy (think upper Canada) climates. For "normal" environments - think Chicago and New York, a snow tire is actually detrimental to your driving 95% of the time. Meaning, if there is not snow on the road (which 90% of the time there is not), you are using the wrong tire - snow tires are terrible at turning and stopping in dry environments. So.. enter the Nokian WRG3 - technically an all season, but still really good in the white stuff. In a perfect world, you would have this for Nov - April 15 and a summer tire for the rest of the time. Ok, now we are completely off topic - sorry!
