Plasti dipped my e91 335i

Hi!

A couple of weeks ago I dipped my car to camo purple. I made it in my home garage with my friend. We used spray cans (4 cans of black, 2 purple and 3 gun metal grey). Took about 15hrs from start to finish.

People usually love it or hate it. What U guys think?

Not my thing either, but in this case I think its a proper use of plastidip. Fun for a bit, then take it right off.

If you like it...I'm happy for you. I could see this on an older Jeep but a Bimmer, not feeling it.

Good effort and job though!

I like the overall look of the car. I think the camo looks cool, but still it would look better without it. Whats your wheel and tyre specs?

not bad.

On a side note, how come your license plate is on the driver's side?

Thanks! My wheel specs are:

Front 9x19" ET32 with 225/35 tires and 15mm spacers
Rear 11x19" ET18 with 265/30 tires. Fenders rolled. Rear lip is 5"

The camo really divides opinions. That was one of my goals So far not so many haters and many supporters.

The best thing about Plasti dip that is not permanent. Still, I like the look for now...

I did not want to drill holes to the bumper so I made a plate holder to the drivers side. I did not like the tow hook holder, so I made my own. Now the plate is easily removable. I know, some OEM people don't like it. It's too "Ricy"?
