FRM2 Coding Clarification
Hey everyone,
I am having someone local do some coding to my car this Sunday and one of the options I wanted was the AE DRLs. However, my build date is 09/2006 and he said I must update to FRM2 to do this. I was doing some quick research and it looks like some upgraded to this to get the welcome lights. I have welcome lights and adaptive headlights. Questions: Do I possible already have the FRM2? If not, is it something I can get from realoem, and what is the part number? Thanks for all the help! Patrick |

Thanks, I'll probably just end up going to him on Sunday and seeing what he can all do regardless. Just wondering if the information I was gathering was correct.

If you're on an 06 build and have FRM2, then it's likely someone already upgraded. I'm pretty sure (and someone correct me) but I thought FRM2 started 3/07

That's what I thought too, but from what I have read you need FRM2 for the LED welcome lights on the door handles. I doubt it was upgraded. Car was bone stock when I got it.
