Do we need to pay US tax?

Hey guys, I have a question. I'm trying to buy something from US online. But the invoice shows that I have to pay tax!! As my previous experience, I never pay US tax when shopping online, I only pay Canadian tax & duty. Am I just lucky? Or they shouldn't charge me the tax? Can someone explain it? Thanks in advance!

should have no US tax at all. If vendor insists, then shop elsewhere.

Tax only applies for the state you buy from if u reside there. Other wise should not be charging taxes.

You should not be charged US sales tax (assuming all states have the same sales tax guidelines).
However I've seen quite a few businesses make sales tax mistakes.

Ok, thanks guys, solved the problem! The dealer deleted the tax.
