Vrsf 5" Fmic V2?

Anyone have any information on the New 5" FMIC with the newer style core? And when exactly it will be available to ship?

Do you happen to know what the design differences are by any chance?

Any pricing differences with the V1?
Will there be a price drop on leftover V1's?

You would have to check with VRSF for pricing as they have not released anything.
But as far as leftover stock the 5" is already out of stock and VRSF won't be getting any V1 versions anymore.
the 7" ( this size will not have a V2) will be in our stock by May.

Will the new stepped version still fit with no cutting like the original purpose of the 5" intercooler? Seems like a stepped 5" will be near the 7" in efficiency levels

The stepped design allows the FMIC to be mounted without having to trim the bumper. The stepped 5" outperforms the old 5" VRSF FMIC but the 7" still outperforms the stepped 5".

old 5" < stepped 5" < current 7"

Damn, is that why mine didn't show up the other day? Seems a bit weird to have a tracking number already if they haven't shipped yet. But I guess there is no reason for them not to be able to print the labels ahead of time.

I definitely might have one for sale...

Regarding the other questions, the VRSF website has them for pre-order, same price as V1 5-inch core at $449 (unless you have 2009+ and need the charge pipe). TopGearSolutions has it too, but their ETA on shipping is August.

VRSF printed all the labels for those who pre-ordered them so they could just slap the labels on and ship them out immediately which is awesome on there part because they wanted them to go out the same day they got them in. That is rare for most businesses. Tiago told me they will likely ship Monday and im looking forward to it along with my upper charge pipe i just added to my order.

Haha ya, just got my hopes up for getting it in next week because I got the tracking number already, then found out I'd have to wait another week. Oh well, not that big of a deal!
