when you say only 200 made, are you referring to a color combination? Because there were definitely more than 200 manual 340i manuals produced between 2016-2018

Leather. Two clues. Stitching on the door panels and armrests. Color. If it’s Cognac it has to be leather. In the F3x leatherette was either black or beige.

Dude, 35k would be slightly high for an 80k mile F80, let alone the worst driving F3x (because of xDrive). No disrespect but this is gonna need at least 10k off for any bites. Check cars & bids for recent results if you don’t agree.

Haven’t seen one on cars & bids for sale recently. I don’t know about you but I see tons of f80s for sale higher than 35k. I used to have one so I’m always looking at how that market has changed. Anyways, the reason I’m pricing my car higher is because it’s a rare find. There’s only 3-5 for sale in the us at any given time

I get that, but still. Here's a few -

74k miles, great color combo, identical chassis - bid to 21.5k
https://carsandbids.com/auctions/rM6...i-xdrive-sedan

65k miles, identical chassis - bid to 28k
https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3qw...i-xdrive-sedan

45k miles, elite color - bid to 35k
https://carsandbids.com/auctions/KPM...i-xdrive-sedan

As far as F80's, which typically run 15-20k over the F30.

67k, elite color - sold for 39k

You are exactly correct, but none of the members on Bimmerpost are interested in what the market will actually bear. Apparently being an enthusiast has an overwhelming effect on one’s perception of the value others will place on your car (or wheels and tires). And then at the other end of the spectrum is the Want to Buy crowd. It’s kind of crazy and amusing at the same time.

The “want to buy crowd” is definitely the crowd that kills it. I love my car, and if nobody buys it for what is the minimum I would sell it for then I’ll keep it, I’m fine with that. I posted my car for higher than normal yes but I don’t think it’s totally outrageous considering most will lowball to $30k anyways. If I post it for $25k I will get lowballed to $18k which is Honda civic prices and then still the “want to buy” crowd will find something to complain about. Can never win lol. If someone wants to buy a car like mine, xdrive manual clean title, they have to fly out to another state because it’s that much harder to find and that’s where the price difference comes from, the rarity. Again if it doesn’t sell, it is what it is.

30k is probably a more than fair number for your car as it sits. If that's lower than you want to accept you're going to end up keeping the car. I sold my 2016 340i xdrive manual in late 2022 for 32k and it had 46k miles on it, just for reference

The market has forsure dropped since then, I’d be perfectly happy with 30k but my bottom is about 27k

You should update the listing then. If I wanted the car, I wouldn't even engage with you if you posted 37k because that'd be crazy to ask 10k less.
