Congrats man! That is awesome news, you must be pretty excited.
Now fingers crossed my dealer gets it's act together. 11 days and counting since my car reached port, and 2.5 months since I first placed the order (first week of aug) |

I can't believe your car hasn't been released yet. My car made it from the VPC in Brunswick, GA to Fort Worth, TX in less than a week. I hope the hold up isn't due to shipping damage. |

It's funny how people that ordered the car can relate to the anxious moments prior to picking up the car! Be safe, enjoy the car over the weekend - great timing! I know you'll want to fiddle with the car driving home, but pull over and dink around ;-). Cheers!

Congrats Cabinetman! I am excited for both you and me. Dealer told me end of the month yesterday, based on your timeline I am hopeful sometime within the next week. (Arrived in GA on 10/12).

I will try to resist learning the controls while driving. Since I have been in two wrecks within the first 24 hours of owning a new car I tend to be very careful. |

M-DCT Tech package Premium package Carbon leather trim 19" wheels Heated seats Park distance control iPod adapter Smartphone integration I skipped out on the sunroof as I rarely used it in my previous Lexus IS-F. I also I didn't opt for the enhanced audio because my ears aren't that great. My IS-F had the Mark Levinson sound system and I never used it to the full potential. |

Congrats - Glad to hear the waits almost over. I'm sure your stoked. Looks similar to my build. Especailly w/o the sunroof & no CWP, just heated seat. Can't tell you how happy I am I didn't get the sunroof. IMO it looks much, much better without it. Enjoy - |

Did you happen to notice what tires are on your car? I was expecting Contis from everything I have read, but ended up with PS2s. |

Yup, they put PS2s on mine, too. Didn't even realize it until I scrolled up and looked at the picture closely
Hey, maybe the EPA felt bad for holding us up and gave us a nice present? |

The wait is bad enough, the hard part is the lack of communication. I know mine also must be getting close. Finished production 9/21 arrived VPC 10/12, but my dealer isn't giving me any indication of a concrete time frame. When I called him a couple of days ago after checking all he could say is, "should be here by the end of the month."

Congratulations on your ride! I was fortunate enough that I didn't have to wait too long to get mine. It was actually made for as a showroom car for a dealership in Conn. Autocoutoure (Sal) formerly of Paul Miller BMW (boo!) diverted the shipment instead and it only took me a week. That whole week of waiting was filled with anxiety to say the least. I could just imagine what you were going through.
Enjoy it in good health and drive safe.

Depends on your boat. I got on one of the slowest moving boats possible. The ship that left the day after mine got to Brunswick five days sooner.
